Down
Community Arts was established in 1992 and was set up to foster
and promote the maintenance, improvement and development of
arts activities throughout the Down District, with a specific
emphasis on developing positive community relations through
community arts and outreach activities.
We’re
based in Downpatrick but we outreach right across the Down
District.
Currently
over 3,000 people take part annually in the organisation’s
programme of activities which include; workshops, exhibitions,
events and performances; community murals, wallhangings and
mosaics; training for artists and community groups; Summer
schemes for children.
